Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This is my personal website. It has no account, no forms, no cookies and no tracking. This page says what still happens to data when you visit it, write to me or support me.
1. Controller
The person named in the imprint. Privacy questions go to mrtz.space@posteo.de.
2. Visiting the site
The pages are delivered by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). To send a page to your browser and to protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare's servers process technical data such as your IP address, the time, the requested page and your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: a site cannot be delivered without it. I do not store or analyse these data myself. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU; this is based on the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
3. What does not happen
- No cookies and no local storage.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising.
- No external fonts, scripts or embeds. The site loads nothing from third parties.
4. Writing to me
If you send me an email, I use your address and your message only to answer you. My email provider is Posteo (Posteo e.K., Berlin). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. I delete the conversation when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires me to keep it.
5. Donations and regular support
The buttons “Donate once” and “Support regularly” are plain links. Nothing is sent to PayPal until you click one. After the click you are on the website of PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg), which handles the payment as its own controller under its own privacy statement.
From PayPal I receive what I need for the payment: your name, email address, the amount and the date, and for regular support whether it is still active. I use these data to book the payment and, if you like, to thank you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for keeping the records, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR together with German tax law, which can require me to keep them for up to 10 years.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). Write to the address above. You can also complain to a supervisory authority (Art. 77); in Germany this is the data protection authority of your federal state.
7. Changes
If the site starts handling data differently, this page is updated. The date at the top shows the current version.
